Export through our Sketchup extension

We provide a Sketchup extension to export and upload in one click your models on Augment: https://extensions.sketchup.com/en/content/augment-augmented-reality-0

The second best way to export a model from Sketchup to Augment is to export it as a KMZ file and upload the KMZ straight away in Augment.

Sketchup has a variety of software versions and plans. The Kmz support should be able in sketchup pro and sketchup make (free). You can also download directly from the 3D warehouse.

KMZ files guarantee that you have all the texture and 3d model correctly packaged.

  1. Make your 3D model In any version of Sketchup.

  2. Select File--> export--> 3D model

3. Select .KMZ (listed as a Google Earth File).

4. upload your model into the augment manager

--- Clients who use sketchup also seem to like Blender (free)--
